Peggy Mancuso, PhD, CNM, RN

Peggy Mancuso is an Associate Professor at Texas Woman’s University. She established the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program (WHNP) at Texas Woman’s University in 1999. In 2004, Dr. Mancuso was the recipient of the Susan Cass Doroghazi Faculty Excellence Award for Excellence in Teaching. In 2005, Dr. Mancuso was selected as one of Dallas -Fort Worth Great One Hundred Nurses. Dr. Mancuso is also Research Director at the TWU Dallas Campus. In 1994 Dr. Mancuso became the first Certified Nurse Midwife in private practice to acquire hospital privileges in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She currently practices at Parkland Memorial Hospital and is a Faculty Associate for UTSW Medical College. She has attended over 1000 births. In addition, Dr. Mancuso is Chair of the ACC Exam Committee and coordinates nurse-midwifery certification examination administration. |
